Priscilla Frey is a member of SWAN’s Executive Committee. She is also the main accountant of the association.
She took her first steps in the movie industry when she was 6 years old as an actress in Pandora (La Dérive), from António da Cunha Telles with Fanny Contençon, Inês de Medeiros and Philippe Léotard.
Years later, she graduated in Audiovisual Production and Distribution in Paris. She had various experiences in production and distribution during her training journey.
In 2012, she came back to her home country and produced short films and a documentary. In 2013, she created the first edition of the Portuguese-speaking countries Film Festival in Geneva. The following year, she founded the Lusofon’Art association and the Geneva’s Portuguese cineclub with the objective to promote the Portuguese culture, mainly by movies.
In 2015, she became administrator and programmer for the VoD platform, leKino.ch and in 2018, she began a political career and has been the cultural delegate of her party since.
In June 2018, she joined SWAN as a Co-opted Executive Committee member, and has been in charge of organization and streamlining as well as the coordination of the SSFV SWAN round table at Visions du Réel 2019 : Where are the women ? Gender inequalities in Swiss Film Productions.
