Azra Djurdjevic
Producer
Azra Djurdjevic is co-president of SWAN.
She holds a Master’s degree in German, English and Comparative Literatures from the Universities Bern and Berlin. During her studies, she worked as an assistant at the University of Bern and held courses on literary film adaptations and storytelling in film. From 2010 – 2015, she worked freelance as assistant director, unit manager and production manager for short, feature and commissioned films. Since 2015, she produced numerous award-winning commercials and most recently won a Silver EDI as director. Since 2018 she works as film producer at Filmgerberei. Her first feature documentary is currently in distribution and she has further feature films in development.
In 2019, she joined SWAN with a major concern in the fight against gender stereotypes as well as the underrepresentation of women in the commercial industry.
