Born in Tunisia, she moved country when she was 8 and grew up in Switzerland. This huge change of culture and values has dramatically affected her as a growing child. At age 25, she moved country again and decided to settle down in London for 6 years. The several differences of cultures, traditions and languages she experienced in her life have led her to constantly question the foundations of human’s identity and challenge it in her work as a director.
She started my career in 2013 with Fashion One TV as video editor and followed with many indépendant short films. Her work has been shown on the largest musical digital Platform 4:3 Boiler Room TV and Videostatic. She has won 7 awards for«best video clip». She also have worked with the BBC on a number of TV projects as camera assistant.
Being a female Arabic director, she has spent too much time blaming herself for not being able to achieve the things she deeply wanted to achieve. She now knows that the society and her conditioning have also played a huge part in the struggles of her life. It is extremely important to her that women from all backgrounds identify these conditionings in order to free themselves from the chains that are stopping them from flourishing. And for men to help them to do so.
