Elettra Fiumi

Elettra Fiumi is a member of SWAN’s Executive Committee.

Elettra Fiumi is an award-winning Lugano-based Florentine-American documentary film director, producer and editor who heads Fiumi Studios production company with presence in Lugano and New York City. She has worked on films for Netflix, Amazon Prime, The New Yorker, BBC, Siemens, Walmart, Whatsapp, Airbnb, Gagosian Gallery and others. Her films, often intimate portraits, explore themes of innovation, discovery and a sense of place.

Elettra is a Graham Foundation awardee and an alum of the Columbia Journalism School, Mount Holyoke College and Documentary Campus. She is the founder of the Milan chapter of the Video Consortium, a global creative community of non-fiction filmmakers.
