Ksenia Ignatenko
Composer, Singer
Ksenia Ignatenko is an opera singer and media composer. She started her music career at the age of 8, singing in the Moscow opera house Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theatre. The same year Ksenia started composing and made music for the end credits of her father’s home film. After 12 years of studying music and working intensely on her vocal training, Ksenia discovered her true passion as a film composer. From the age of 17, she has been working on many projects including animation, advertisement, short films and feature documentaries.
At the moment Ksenia is completing her Master degree in Composition for Film, Theatre and Media at ZHdK – Zürcher Hochschule der Künste.
Due to her background in opera, Ksenia loves to compose with vocals and piano, especially in the direction of hybrid music.
