Katia Skila Durlemann

Katia Skila Durlemann is a member of SWAN’s Executive Committee.

Katia is a writer and director from Russia, based for 20 years in Geneva. She studied cinema at the Ecole des Beaux-arts in Geneva between 2004 and 2008. Since then, she has directed documentaries and short films and also runs an audiovisual production company for companies and private individuals. Ekaterina Skila is also the founder of the Skila Fox Films, set up as a platform for the development of projects by independent directors, scriptwriters and producers.

After 15 years of experience in the commercial audiovisual field, she decided to return to her cinematic beginnings, notably as a screenwriter and director. Currently, she is developing her own project while she teaches Histoire du Cinéma in Ecole Insight in Geneva.
