Women in sound

03 Giugno 2023 14h30 – 17h30, Spoutnik, Rue de la Coulouvrenière 11, 1204 Genève

What’s the situation of women in audio, a presumably male-based department?

In a panel discussion preceded by the screening of the documentary “J’ai énormément dormi” by Clara Alloing, we will explore topics such as visibility, labor law, access to training and employment and interpersonal relationships in the workplace for female professionals working in sound in Switzerland. Our guests will share their experiences and views on how to navigate the sometimes precarious audiovisual industry.

This panel is spoken in French.

Speakers: Actress, comedian and radio presenter Marie-Eve Musy and sound engineer, film programmer and director Clara Alloing.

Moderator: Videographer and SWAN board member Delphine Luchetta
