It was amazing! We thank you for attending the second SWAN Networking Breakfast as well as the panel at the Locarno Film Festival, and our sponsors for making it possible.
SWAN was happy to welcome directors Petra Volpe (CH), Sabine Gisiger (CH) and Rana Eid (Palestine) as special guests. They were celebrated as well as the thrilling news from Suissimage about a new 1 million Swiss Francs grant for 1 to 3 film projects by women.
Issues affecting women directors, working with women and picking a diverse and gender equal crew were discussed during the panel moderated by Laura Kaehr, Author-Director, SWAN core-group member & Stéphane Mitchell, Screenwriter and SWAN core-group member.
