The Career for Women Behind the Camera: A conversation with Sophie Maintigneux

French director of photography and Germany-based Sophie Maintigneux has filmed over 70 feature films and documentaries to date. Throughout her career she has garnered awards such as the German Camera Award in the documentary category (2003 and 2009), plus a nomination for the same award in the feature film category (2007), among many others.

This event was addressed to anyone in the industry interested in the career of cinematography.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, it was held online and livestreamed on Zoom and Youtube.

The masterclass was followed by the launch of the first ever directory of women working in the Swiss film industry.
