On March 7, 2019, at the initiative of SWAN, FIFF director Thierry Jobin and president Mathieu Fleury, along with pledge godmother, film director and actress Magaajyia Silberfeld, signed the Pledge for Parity and Inclusion in Cinema Festivals for new commitments for equality and diversity in the industry
FIFF – Festival International de films de Fribourg is the third Swiss film festival to sign the pledge.
SWAN was represented by co-president Stéphane Mitchell and Executive Committee members and co-opted members Orane Burri, Priscilla Frey, Bernadette Kolonko and Anaïs Voirol.
