Focus Day: Film.Pionierinnen – Panel

This panel discussion is part of the « Focus Day: Film.Pionerinnen”, brought by the Solothurn Film Festival at the initiative of Anita Hugi, which invites the audience to go on a journey through the 20th century from a female perspective and to discuss the impact of cinema and its role in the younger women’s movement in Switzerland.

Moderation: Solothurn Film Festival director Anita Hugi and Landesmuseum Zurich director Denise Tonella

Focus Day: Film.Pionerinnen takes place a day before the Women’s Strike Day on June 14, within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the women’s suffrage in Switzerland.

The event was made possible, thanks to the cooperation between Landesmuseum Zurich and Solothurn Film Festival, in partnership with filmo, Cinésuisse, Cinémathèque suisse, HEAD Genève, ZHdK, ARF-FDS and SWAN.
