On January 30, 2019, at the initiative of SWAN, Solothurn Film Festival director Seraina Rohrer and president Felix Gutzwiller, along with producer and pledge godmother Tiziana Soudani, signed the Pledge for Parity and Inclusion in Cinema Festivals for new commitments for equality and diversity in the industry.
Solothurn Film Festival is the second Swiss film festival to sign the Pledge.
SWAN was represented by co-presidents Gabriel Baur, Laura Kaehr and Stéphane Mitchell as well as members and co-opted members of the Executive Committee.
